Krysten's new logo represents her style to a tee. Simple, personal, warm and clever are all words she used to describe her work, and what she wanted to carry through in new business identity. Because a large part of her clientele are children, lowercase lettering were used to hint at her relaxed and youthful work, as well as her welcoming personality. And the tilted square subtly represents both a photographers frame and quarky nature of her subject. Krysten's work is outstanding, and I'm so happy to have the opportunity to not only know her work, but create a mark which represents it. Templatista offers professionally designed, quality Photoshop templates for the in-demand photographer and wedding templates for DIY brides. Templatista offers coordinating designs, from save-the-dates to wedding stationary collections, as well as baby, graduate and holiday cards (coming soon). It's an exciting new venture, and I'm thrilled to share the news of it's launch! Also, I'm happy to share that UNIQLOVE is featured TWICE in the current issue of The Knot Minnesota magazine. The two invitations included were Jennifer's booklet invitation (also in the UNIQLOVE online gallery and shown below) and Molly's folder invite (currently not online). Each of their weddings were so gorgeous! · · · · · · Added 02.13.08 Happy Valentines Day! I'm happy to share that I will be participating in this years Bridal Gala at the Golden Valley Golf and Country Club. Along with the two other private events I do yearly, I'm excited to be involved in such wonderful opportunities to meet new clients and show what UNIQLOVE has to offer. I'm also very excited to share that I'm developing another branch business of UNIQLOVE. The concept of this new business is very much under wraps and confidential at this point. That being said, I can share that it is a very exciting concept which will absolutley offer a service that is very much in demand for everyone including professionals to DIY'ers. Hopefully, I'll be launching within a month or so. Until then, I will just throw out this long-winded tease. Now, back to work . . . · · · · · · Added 01.18.08 2008 has begun! 2008 is starting off at a running pace this year! As with each year, this time right after the holidays usually brings in a lot of traffic, interest and wonderful new clients to UNIQLOVE. I'm currently working with some really great couples, who have very diverse styles and whose invites go from one end of the spectrum to another. As always, I'm so excited with what I'm working on right now, I cannot wait to post these new invites online once they are completed. From ultra modern (Danielle and Michael) to elegantly formal (Jill and Dan) to fun and vibrant (Katie & Chris), they, along with my other clients, are all providing such wonderful inspiration. I cannot be more thrilled to be working with each of them, and about how their invitations are turning out! This winter, I will be returning to showcase UNIQLOVE in two private events. Rush Creek and BearPath Country Club both are unbelievably gorgeous locations which host private food tasting events each year to their booked clients. Having the opportunity to meet new people and reconnect with some of my favorite vendors is wonderful to be a part of year after year. Finally, UNIQLOVE will also be this years MN Bride Resource Guide. This stunning resource book is the perfect planning companion to the MN Bride magazine and includes a ton of information about local vendors. With all the amazing clients I have had this past year, I couldn't be happier having had the opportunity to create something UNIQ for each and everyone one of them. Could my job be any more fun? (a little Chandler Bing there) And what fun it was to re-launch the Letters From Santa site! Orders came in from across the country, and I even as far away as the UK! It was so much fun, it's too bad Christmas only comes around once a year. Keep your eyes open next year, just after Halloween, for when I have the Letters From Santa site back up and running for the 2008 holiday season! For ALL clients of UNIQLOVE, past and present, I send a huge "Thank You Again" for letting me be a part of your special day. Here it is, the brand-spankin'-new logo I designed for Serendipity Photography. As written below, Serendipity contracted me to create a new brand identity beginning with an entirely new logo. The logo incorporates the dualism Serendipity Photography creates, the mix of "industrial meets pretty". It also creates interest as it represents the shape a camera lens makes as the shutter is triggered. The logo is just the beginning of an entirely new identity for Serendipity Photography which you will be seeing more of very soon. · · · · · · Added 01.18.07 Getting back to my roots . . . I'm very happy to share that I have been recently contracted to create a brand new business identity for one of my favorite vendors, Serendipity Photography! Jen Wheeler, the amazing owner and principle photographer of Serendipity, has decided to give Serendipity a complete new look, and has given me the wonderful opportunity to be the sole designer of the entire process. The new identity will include every element of Serendipity's look, including a spankin' new logo as well as all stationary and marketing/advertising materials. Jen and I have highly respected each others work for several years, so this opportunity is extremely exciting for the both of us. Serendipity's "make-over" will be launching soon, and I'll be sure to share more once everything is complete. · · · · · · Added 01.02.07 Happy New Year from UNIQLOVE! As with each year, the New Year brings many new and excited brides-to-be to UNIQLOVE's virtual "doorstep". With the holidays over, brides are either beginning or continuing their planning with refreshed energy. All of the new opportunities certainly sparks a ton of enthusiasm for me to create the perfect invitations for each of them. Sending a huge "welcome" to all new brides-to-be, and a special wink to "Knotties" from all over the USA! In February, I will be returning to represent UNIQLOVE in two private wedding events here in the Twin Cities; BearPath Country Club in Eden Prairie and Rush Creek Golf Club in Maple Grove. These two locations are my absolute favorite venues and offer unbelievably gorgeous space for weddings and events alike. Although these two Food Tasting Events are private to already booked clients of the stunning locations, I sincerely encourage you to check them out and consider them for your big day! · · ·
